This was such a fun wedding!  I had the best time helping my friend Ann with this wedding!  The Mitchell’s were married at the Alan House in Austin.  They had an outdoor wedding with tons of candles and it was so romantic!  It was a little cold outside, but there was plenty of dancing to keep everyone warm.  Kacey and Will were surrounded by great family and friends on their special day.  The way Will looked at Kacey melted my heart!  You could just tell by the look on their faces how in love they were.  Congratulations Will and Kacey and many blessings!

I just love this sweet couple and how in love they are!  I got to know Megan through Young Life and think she is just the sweetest!  We started talking about her fiance and engagement and all her wedding plans.  I was so excited to hear about all the details and then she asked me to be her wedding photographer and I was delighted!  I finally got to meet her fiance, Steven, that she had been telling me about.  They are so perfect together and I think you can tell that from their engagement pictures.  I am so excited about their wedding and being able to celebrate their love!  Congratulations you two!

I am so excited to be blogging this wedding.  Echo and Ryan live in Oregon, but were down in San Antonio for spring break with their kids.  While they were down here in the Lone Star State they decided to get married.  Ryan and Echo were married at Marriage Island on the San Antonio Riverwalk.  The ceremony was gorgeous!  It was the perfect afternoon for a wedding and lots of very friendly strangers around to witness the marriage.  Tons of sweet strangers were there to congratulate them after the ceremony and some even wanted a picture with the newlyweds.  Ryan and Echo just kept saying how friendly everyone was, and it is true!  After the ceremony we walked along the Riverwalk for some pictures and then took a horse drawn carriage to the Alamo.  It was all so very nice!  Congratulation Ryan and Echo!  Thanks so much for letting me be a part of your special day.  

I had the pleasure of photographing Chad and Amy’s wedding a few months ago in Lubbock.  I know Amy from our high school years and it was so great to see her again, especially on this very special day.  The connection between Amy and Chad is amazing.  You can tell by just looking at them how in love they are and how much they care and respect each other.  Their families were great and so excited to see them finally tie the knot!

The wedding was simple and elegant.  The reception was a PARTY!  Everyone had a great time at the reception and danced the night away.  The dance floor was packed all night long.  This couple also loves Texas Tech football, which made me love them even more.  Check out the groom’s cake.  I want a birthday cake that looks like that!  Thanks to Amanda for having me tag along to help her shoot.  I had a great time!
