Last weekend we took a group of kids from Young Life to Polar Bear. Polar Bear is a weekend camp outside of Leakey Texas. It is called Polar Bear because after a food fight on Saturday you jump in the Frio River to “clean” off. The Frio River is cold in the middle of summer so you can only imagine how cold it is in December. We had a fabulous weekend. We had a chance to get to know the kids better and reconnect with God. I loved every minute of the weekend, even jumping in the Frio.

Those kids are super cute! I have to say, in my head I imagined that you jumped into the frio in your clothes not your super cute swim suits. For some reason that seams even colder!!

I agree with Abby too. I guess it is the mother in me- I want to say “If everyone jumped in the river in December, would you do it too?” I guess the answer would be yes. Makes me cold just thinking about it.
